Agree how the project will run
Start with the outcome, scope and responsibilities. Identify who supplies material, who gives feedback and who makes final decisions.
Set a communication rhythm that works across time zones. Meetings are useful for decisions; written updates help everyone stay informed without needing to be online together.
Make milestones reviewable
Break the work into checkpoints with something concrete to inspect. A prototype, content draft or working flow is easier to discuss than a broad progress percentage.
Keep feedback together and distinguish required changes from new ideas. Record decisions so the team does not have to reconstruct them later.
Plan access and ownership
Use business-owned accounts and give each collaborator the access their task needs. Agree who maintains the list of systems and permissions.
Plan the final handover from the start. Documentation, source materials and operating instructions should be part of the agreed delivery.
Keep space for change
New information is normal. When the scope changes, explain its effect on deliverables, timing and cost before the additional work starts.
A predictable review process helps the team move quickly while keeping the client involved. Clarity is what makes the collaboration feel personal.
